Hire Fee Structure

(effective 2 July 2026)

Total Hire Fee: $1,200.00 (inc. GST)

Deposit: $600.00 (inc. GST)

Deposit must be paid to secure booking via bank transfer or Credit Card. If the deposit is not received within three (3) days of the booking being made, SJICC will automatically charge the authorised credit card provided at the time of booking and additional processing fees may apply. If the credit card charge is unsuccessful, the booking will be cancelled and no access information will be issued.

Balance:  $600.00 (inc. GST)

Hire Fee balance must be paid via bank transfer 7 days prior to hire period. If the balance is not received by the due date, SJICC will automatically charge the authorised credit card on file and additional processing fees may apply. If this charge is unsuccessful, the booking may be cancelled and access information will not be provided.

Security Bond: $800.00 (inc. GST)

Security Bond must be paid no later than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the hire period. If the security bond is not received within the required timeframe, SJICC will automatically charge the authorised credit card and additional processing fees may apply. If this charge is unsuccessful, the booking may be cancelled and access information will not be provided. The security bond will be refunded within seven (7) days following the hire period once the Venue Hire Inspection Checklist has been completed and provided all Conditions of Hire and Venue Rules have been fully complied with. Post Event Cleaning: (Price on Application)

Where the hirer elects not to undertake cleaning at the conclusion of the hire period, an Optional Cleaning Service may be arranged. This service must be pre-booked with SJICC Management prior to the hire period.

The Optional Cleaning Service includes a professional cleaner attending the venue to carry out the standard cleaning typically required of hirers, including vacuuming, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and cleaning bathrooms.

Please note, this service does not include packing up or removing items left behind by hirers.

All hirers are still required to:-Reset the hall to 15 tables with 10 chairs per table
-Remove all personal belongings and equipment
-Dispose of all rubbish in the appropriate bins

The cleaning service is intended to clean the venue — not to clear or pack up after an event.

If the Optional Cleaning Service is not pre-booked and the hirer later requests cleaning during or after the hire period, the full security bond will be retained as a cleaning fee.

Any applicable Optional Cleaning Fee must be paid no later than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the hire period. If payment is not received within the required timeframe, SJICC reserves the right to charge the authorised credit card on file, and additional processing fees may apply.

Failure to reset the hall to the required layout, or leaving behind rubbish or personal items, may result in forfeiture of the security bond, in addition to any cleaning fees paid.

Hiring Availability and Access Times

Standard Access hours

The SJICC can only be hired for full day booking blocks as follows

Friday and Saturday: 5:00am – midnight (premises must be clean and vacated by 1am)

Sunday to Thursday: 5:00am – 11:00pm (premises must be clean and vacated by midnight)

The premises must be left clean and all personal items, decorations and equipment must be removed by the times indicated above. Failure to vacate and clean the premesis by the above mentioned times will result in full bond forfeiture.  

Early Access

Early Access can be arranged and will be charged as follows:

Weekends - For access on either  Friday or Saturday to set up for a Saturday or Sunday function

Option 1)
Book both Friday/Saturday and Saturday/Sunday at discounted rate $2,000.00 (inc. GST)
requiring $1000 Deposit and $800 Bond. This grants access from 5am day before your function

Weekdays - For access on Monday-Thursday to set up for a function the following day:

Book both Thursday and Friday at discounted rate of $1,800.00 (inc. GST)
requiring $1000 Deposit and $800 Bond. This grants access from 5am day before your function
